From Confusion To Confidence (FCTC) was born out of a deeply personal experience with the legal system, driven by a desire to turn adversity into empowerment. Our founder's encounter with the law, fueled by racial bias and lack of awareness, illuminated the urgent need for education and advocacy, particularly for people of color and minority communities.
At FCTC, our mission is to educate and empower individuals to navigate their rights and responsibilities in everyday matters such as navigating contracts and agreements, and asserting their rights. We strive to provide relief to those impacted by unverifiable debt, garnishments, fraudulent contracts, and unfair agreements, ensuring that everyone has the knowledge and support they need to protect themselves and their financial well-being.
Education & Debt Settlement: We help clients understand their credit reports, identify inaccuracies, and take steps to correct them on their own with our virtual five day intensive. Clients also have the opportunity to resolve alleged debts through our settlement and negotiation services.
Contract and Agreement Guidance: We assist in reviewing contracts and agreements to ensure fair terms and prevent exploitation.
Consumer Rights Advocacy: We provide resources and support to help individuals assert their rights in various transactions, from car purchases to rental agreements and preparation of legal documents.
Smooth Reentry into Society: We will partner with prisons and jails to offer education programs that prepare inmates for life after release. Re-entry programs will include housing and trade jobs at future FCTC locations.
Credit Rehabilitation: Inmates will receive guidance on fixing their credit while still incarcerated, enabling a stronger financial foundation upon reentry.
Financial Relief and Literacy: We will help inmates understand and leverage their inaccuracies on their credit for monetary relief, ensuring they have the financial knowledge and resources to avoid recidivism.
